During the 4th Health and Safety Day

Registration for activities 1 – 6, which will be held on May 9 this year, starts from April 11 at 09:00 a.m. Sequence of applications decides. The number of places is limited.

1. Exercise with a physiotherapist*.

2. Consultation with a podiatrist*

Discover how to keep your feet in great shape! Struggling with foot problems? Don’t underestimate foot problems – get a podiatry consultation.

3. Office massage*

Faculty of Social Sciences – rotunda – lobby

Office massage derived from classical massage, relaxation, acupressure, mobilization or trigger therapies, contribute to normalizing muscle tone and increasing blood circulation. The massage lasts up to 20 minutes in a sitting position on a special chair without the need to undress or use lubricants (such as oils).

4. Rapid diagnostic tests*

Choice of two cluster tests: HIV, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, syphilis, tuberculosis, STREP test A, STREP test B, CPR, Beta HCG, PSA.

5. First Aid Workshop*

You will learn how to help an infant, child and adult during choking.

6. Workshop – hemorrhages*

Taming massive hemorrhages in premedical first aid. Use of the CAT type tourniquet.

New rules of conduct during evacuation in UG facilities, practical use of evacuation chair, indoor hydrant, firefighting with fire extinguishers.

Third Run for Health

Parking lot at the Faculty of Social Sciences

The run begins with a warm-up.

Distance 1.5 km.

Regardless of age and fitness, run, march or bring Nordic walking poles.

Bring sportswear and a positive attitude.

The first 100 people will receive a medal and a gift.

Employees, students, doctoral students, to participate in the Contest, fill out the Contest entry form and send it to bhp@ug.edu.pl or drop it in the Health and Safety box located in the New Rector’s Office on the first floor or in the box by the exit at the Faculty of Social Sciences during the 4th Occupational Safety and Health Day on 09/05/2024.

The form must be submitted by May 10, 2024.
